[E10-erate] RE: Class 1 consolidation and Billed Entity numbers

Just a heads up!
If you have any consolidated Class 1 schools that HAVE NOT applied for
Erate in the past they will not have a Billed Entity number.  If you are
planning on including them on your Discount Calculation (i.e. Free and
Reduced information) they must have a Billed Entity number.  
I would suggest that you call the SLD Client Service Bureau at:
1-888-203-8100 and make a request for an Billed Entity Number for that
school.
I am not familiar with how this process works but I would hope that with
the filing deadline only 3 weeks away that it would go pretty quickly.
Please let me know how the process goes for you so I can pass that
information on to others.
