Welcome back!  ESU 10 Network and Information Services, formerly Media Technology, has the following workshops scheduled for September. Several of them are new and should be lots of fun--as well as educational!

In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of FileMaker Pro, a database program that allows flexibility in the entry and manipulation of information, so that they can create and use databases to organize information. Participants will also learn about the various relationship types, link databases together, and use field formatting options.

This workshop will allow participants to learn about Apple's new integrated multimedia applications - iTunes for managing music, iPhoto for digital photography, iMovie for editing digital video and iDVD for creating your own DVDs.

>From quick corrections to creative editing, you can easily achieve high-quality results. Whether you use a digital camera or scan traditional photos, Photoshop Elements makes digital imaging a breeze. Organize photos in the File Browser, where you can preview, sort, rotate, and rename images.

This workshop replaces the LAN Managers meeting. Participants will be presented information on topics that apply to every district. Topics may include but are not limited to: filtering, routers, internet access, E-Rate, ODIE & etc.

Movie Maker 2 - https://odie.esu10.org/workshops/WorkshopDetails.aspx?WorkshopID=212 
Participants of this all-day hands-on workshop will use Windows XP MovieMaker 2 to edit video clips, still shots, and audio files to produce a multimedia presentation with transitions and other effects. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own digital video camera with cables and prerecorded video.
