[I-Safe] blogging - Internet safety

ABC news broadcast two news segments this week on the dangers of
blogging by students. There's a little advertisement that you have to
watch first.  Then the news segment comes on.  Great segments to have
your students watch.

Also, I was recently involved in an interview by NTV news here in
Kearney.  The reporter did a nice job putting the segment together and
included comments of some teenagers who blog as well as comments by

FYI - Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter)
that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption.
Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or the Web site.
