A common question today is why is i-SAFE charging for curriculum it had
always provided for free?  Let me shed some light on that.

 

As you can imagine the number of schools and organizations requesting
the i-SAFE Internet safety program has grown tremendously in the past
months.  The reasons behind this are varied but i-SAFE's appearance on
the TV shows Dateline and Primetime, plus the large number of teens with
social networking websites (e.g. myspace, xanga, etc) are strong
contributors.   In short the demand for our materials has outpaced our
grant dollars.  This has forced us to modify our procedures.

 

All i-SAFE materials are still provided free of charge when one submits
the proper implementation plan.  For example after submitting a
classroom instruction implementation plan, one can immediately download
the applicable lessons from our website for free.  High schools will
also receive a free DVD containing the high school web cast lessons.
Middle schools receive a free DVD containing our cyber bullying web cast
lesson.  

 

Now if you prefer the curriculum on CD or in a binder, those can be
ordered at cost from our online store.

between the lessons in the free download or on the CD or binder.  The
only exception is the elementary K-5 curriculum CD contains special
i-Buddy songs not included in the download.

 

As a special incentive and to help jump start i-SAFE lessons in your
school this fall, i-SAFE is running a special 15% off sale on it's
latest fall curriculum.  Act now as this sale ends November 30th.  

 

The three curriculum CDs (K-5, 6-8, 9-12), normally $10 each are now
only $8.50.  The hard copy curriculum binders are similarly discounted.


 

When you submit an implementation plan for a school assembly, i-Parent
Program, Professional Development Program or Library Safe Card, you will
receive, for free, the CDs/DVDs to conduct these events.

 

So now you have no excuse!  Submit your implementation plan today and
start teaching i-SAFE in your school.
