[Powerschool] school enrollment report - codes not appearing

If you are one of the schools experiencing the problem of no enrollment
codes appearing on the School Enrollment report, I just heard from one
of the schools who had this problem, that PS support said that this
issue "could not be resolved in a timely manner."  She ended up hand
entering the enrollment code into the template for each student and then
submitted it to the state.  

 

If you do this, just remember to import the file into Excel using
Data/Get External Data/Import data and work through the wizard to change
all the columns to Text.  Enter the appropriate enrollment codes in
Column G. When saving do a File/Save As... and change the File Type to
CSV(comma separated) and name it exactly as it needs to be

 

XX-XXXX_school_enroll_yyyymmddhhmm.csv

 

FYI - It appears that the majority of the unresolved issues related to
Nebraska reporting are with schools that converted from Centerpoint to
PowerSchool this summer. I submitted a list of concerns to the Customer
Support Manager for Nebraska schools today.  I know of one school that I
mentioned in my message who has already received a call from PS
regarding their outstanding issues.  

 

For those of you who are still struggling with submission of reports to
the state, call or email the helpdesk and let them know of your
situation, if you haven't already done so.  There will be someone on
duty at the NDE helpdesk this weekend. Your administrators should
receive a message from Bob Beecham very soon indicating that if a school
simply cannot get the data extraction/submission issues resolved, a
paper version of the Fall School Membership report can be sent to the
state.
